Directions: Shake well; spray onto clean, freshly washed hair. Lightly massage into scalp, then cover hair with a cap for 10 minutes. Next, rinse rice water completely off of hair/scalp and style as desired. Recommended frequency of use: one time per week.

Why a preservative?
A preservative is an absolute MUST in a formula with herbs and water, as herbs are notorious for growing mold in water without a preservative and it would only hold up for about 3 days maximum refrigerated without a preservative. The preservative allows the product to be shelf stable so that you may safely use your product.
Specs: The substance is a translucent, slightly milky off-white to brown color (it may darken slightly over time).
Scent: The smell is slightly sour and characteristic of fermented rice, but may also contain a touch of sweetness and be mildly herbal, depending on the formula you choose.
Good for use for up to 1.5 months after being received. This listing is for one 4 ounce plastic spray bottle.

The finished product is a a green tinted clear oil which is blended with purified water and emulsifier to produce this creamy, effective conditioner. How to use: Apply to freshly washed hair, working through hair from roots to ends. Let conditioner on for 2-5 minutes, then rinse out of hair with cool water and style as desired. Do you have slow growing hair? In the past, it took me a whole year to get my hair from 5 1/2 inches long to 8 inches long (typical hair growth is about 6 inches per year)!
